Edgwarebury Cemetery has achieved the coveted Green Flag Award 2026/27 becoming the first UK Jewish cemetery to receive this prestigious status. The Green Flag Award is the internationally recognised quality mark for parks and green spaces and is only awarded to sites that meet the highest standards of management, environmental sustainability, visitor experience, and overall quality.

Edgwarebury Cemetery is a Full Council Corporate Member of the ICCM (Institute of Crematorium and Cemetery Management). The aim of the ICCM is to raise standards for bereaved people through the promotion of best practice, guidance, accredited training and education.

EJBB staff are committed to providing a professional service and there is a strict ‘no gratuities’ policy.
If you would like to make a donation, please do so in the charity boxes found near the cemetery office and the prayer hall. Donations help with the maintenance and upkeep of the grounds.
